In general, the material will be designed for students who have foundational engineering concepts (e.g., physics, chemistry, calculus, differential equations). The management tracks (IIB and IV) will likely relax the math requirements. This delivery level is expected to broaden accessibility of the material to aspiring or practicing engineers, without reproducing existing engineering preparatory content that is widely available. In addition, this strategy is intended to avoid duplication of existing resources and educational programs that are also widely available.

Courses will be designed for the graduate level, but in certain cases, they may be cross listed at the undergraduate level to facilitate the technical elective series for added University partners. When cross-listing is used, differentiated assessments will distinguish undergraduate vs. graduate level outcome, with the latter requiring greater independence, design, and/or synthesis of new information.
